when your grandma is snoring away beside you, and you fall asleep to her blocked nasal breaths ever since as long as you can recall.

i think grannies are so adorable sometimes.
i love it when my grandma buys random odd things for me whenever and wherever. she has ever bought me a plastic swan thing, a ceramic duck, tacky earrings, NICE earrings, a belt that looks fit for the 7th month stage and so on.
AND she makes the best laksa in the world, and the best curry...

i am very lucky because i also have my other grandma, whose chicken rice is the best in the world too. :) now you see my excuse for getting fat! i'm blessed.

by the way my grandma IS sleeping next to me. i hope i'm not disturbing her too much.

the thing about the elderly is that they are constantly worried about dying. sometimes it's as though they hallucinate losing their life every second, and they are always doing or saying things like, "when i die, that jade bangle i have goes to you, and my gold pendant to your mother" or "i know that when i die, no one will miss me". in a way, i guess their worries aren't unjustified. i mean, face it. everybody gets forgotten now and then, what more when we aren't even alive?

anyhow, yes, i'm doing the following for crystal. it does seem kind of fun. heh.

1. i have this fetish for cutting off dead parts of my body (besides my hair, which i have done at the salon). i cannot stand long fingernails and ANY form of deadness on my fingertips or toe tips, so i trim them at least once every 2 weeks. when it's not time to trim, i'll check everyday if i should.

2. i am prone to impulses.

3. i'm really not as extroverted as i seem.

4. i like to read what nat calls "contemporary literature".

5. i tend to be the butt of jokes.
